Test Shots
Over summer I worked at a summer camp in America, while I was there I worked on a music video as preparation for this years course-work, on the trip I went to New York City and shot some short clips in the style of a music video. This taught me a lot as it allowed me to learn about the different aspects of making a music video in groups and how to get good shots. Therefore the information I learned over summer I am going to put into use in my music video. Since I wasn't using a tripod, all of the shots I took were hand held, which is evident as there is a lot of shakiness in the shots, therefore when filming my music video I will make sure to use a tripod to prevent the shots from coming out shaky and appearing unprofessional. I also learned that when pulling focus it will be important to use a tripod as the shot will appear even less stable and it is harder to keep the level of focus consistent when pulling it without a tripod as shown at 1:18.
